Agency Guidelines on Coasting Trade Applications
As mandated by the Coasting Trade Act, the Canadian Transportation Agency is responsible for licence applications regarding the use of foreign or non-duty paid ships in Canada.
The Agency's Guidelines Respecting Coasting Trade Licence Applications were produced in order to clarify the licence application process.
View the Agency Backgrounder: Revised Guidelines Respecting Coasting Trade Licence Applications for information regarding how the Guidelines were produced and what changes have been made since the previous version was published in 2003.
The 2003 Guidelines are available in the Agency archives.
